Personal Information

Currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at MIT with Social Robots group in Media Lab, working on social robots health intervention projects. Last year, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the ANU working on multimodal automatic analysis of emotional responses in different contexts and stimuli. I’m also Assistant Professor in College of Computer and Information Science, Prince Sultan University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Associate Director of Postgraduate Programs at CCIS. Finished my Ph.D. at Australian National University on multimodal depression detection

Research area:
Main: Affective Computing using multi-modal emotion recognition from voice features, face activities, eye movement, body posture, and head pose. Artificial intelligent techniques are highly used in this research area. Also fusing different channels and cues to give higher accuracy rates.
