Personal Information

“My name is Abduallah Alsinan, I am a high school graduate from Dhahran Ahliyya Schools and throughout my high school career, I’ve been involved in STEM and humanitarian extracurricular activities. I’ve mostly enjoyed conducting scientific research in both KFUPM and KAUST labs, which I took to the international science fair ISEF where I placed 4th in the field of Environmental Engineering. To further my STEM involvement, I was also part of the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) team. In addition, I was previously the head programmer of my school’s Robotics team, where we participated in many national and International competitions such as the Robotics Challenge in Vienna. Other than STEM activities, however, I took interest in partaking in humanitarian activities like volunteering in charity campaigns and the Week Without Walls event. Moreover, when I was in the US during the summer, I was a part of the Hand by Hand volunteer team, where we worked in the Houston food bank and house rehabilitation after Hurricane Harvey. In addition, I enjoyed being a part of the Model United Nations conferences, both in my school and other conferences such as SAMUN, IPSMUN, JKSMUN as a delegate, head chair and a secretary general. All my experiences were enriching, eye-opening and thrilling. I look forward to utilizing all the skills I’ve learned along the way towards the advancement of the community and the country.”
